Big Beds

September 22, 2009, 6 days before Caedmon turned 2, he made the switch out of the nursery and into a big boy bed! And Carys finally got to claim the crib and the nursery!:) He fought the bed a little, asking for "crib," but once the transition was made, it went smoothly and now he's in love with his bed!
We were going to put the twin bed in his room and take out the queen bed(we'd been using the room as a guest room), but decided that at some point in the future, Carys would need a bed as well and we may as well work with what we have. Plus, this way we may still be able to accommodate guests and move Caedmon elsewhere temporarily...haven't had to do this yet, so don't know how it'll work.
And he needed a big bed for all the stuffed animals he has to sleep with. The crib was very crowded!

And here is Miss Carys in her "big bed" as well

She transitioned smoothly as well!:)

Getting Ready for Bed

I believe Corey was getting him ready for bed this particular night, and in these pictures, Caedmon's only halfway ready.:) And looking way too cute! Look at those thighs! Lovin' the baby fat!

With Daddy In Charge...

I asked Corey to get Caedmon into his pajamas and this is what he came out wearing, with an explanation from Caedmon, through Corey, 'This is what dada wears to bed!' Needless to say, I put a pajama top on him before he went to bed. :)

I thought this picture was hilarious! Looks like he's sucking in the gut

and showing off the pipes all at the same time! :)

He's in the middle of turning in circles here. It's funny to watch!

And yes, once again, he's watching TV and is utterly too close! (He didn't stay there long.)
