I can't believe it's been almost a month since I last posted! If I didn't have to upload pictures, I might do this more often!:/
Caedmon has been feeding himself with utensils for awhile now. He usually gives up at some point and goes back to his hands, but he's getting really good at it! This was a few weeks ago now, but it was a face I had to capture on "film!":)

Oh, by the way, it's yogurt.

Working on Utensil Use

Caedmon enjoys sitting in my lap and eating with me, using the utensil himself. So I've been giving him utensils at supper time. Mostly he just plays with them; he'll try to use them for a little while, and then usually give up and go back to his hands. I'll be glad when he becomes more proficient with those spoons and forks.:)

Enjoying Some Chocolate

I made chocolate chip muffins one night 'cause they sounded good and they were fairly healthy (whole wheat flour, applesauce...). They were pretty good, but I think I needed something a little less healthy. They had to suffice though. But Caedmon sure enjoyed them!:)

A Shopping Trip

We took a trip to TC to do some shopping last week. On the way home we stopped at Subway and enjoyed some lunch together. It was fun to hang out with the little man! He enjoyed eating some chips (a VERY rare occassion) and looking out the window. He DID eat some healthy food as well!:)

A Trip to TC

Corey's step-mom had knee surgery in TC and we went to visit her as she was waking up from surgery. She was pretty funny to listen to as she was still pretty drugged.:) It was getting late when we left the hospital, so we ate at La Senorita's before making the trip back home. Here's Caedmon enjoying his tortilla.:)

Corey's Birthday - Part 1

Somehow, Corey's birthday completely slipped my mind till the last minute this year!:/ Thanksgiving was so late; usually I have more time between the holiday and his birthday. I did my best to make it somewhat special, or at least do things that are out of the ordinary. We began our morning with a trip to the Moka, our favorite coffee shop in town. (Yes, even in this town with a population of 1,000, we have two coffee shops!) I bought a pumpkin muffin for Caedmon, even gave it to him on the plate. He did not throw the plate and ate the whole thing!

I made my Grandma's Pizza Casserole last night for supper. This is one of my favorites and I found out that Caedmon likes it as well!:)
