I actually took Caedmon outside! No worries, I've done it a few times!:) I get him out for walks in the stroller more than just playing in the yard. When I told Corey my reasons for not being over enthusiastic about taking him out, he said that he just sits in the middle of the yard anyway - I wouldn't have to chase him around. Cool! ....Not so for me! He was everywhere! Oh well, I guess this is good!:)Okay, so even when mama's in charge
gross things happen!:)
Guess it didn't taste too bad - looks like he's trying to lick up the leftovers!

That's hilarious!
I forget how many pounds of sand/dirt a child will consume in the early years...:) My kids ate a lot , it didn't hurt them...but YUK!! :)
Our Caedmon loves being outside -- it's the easiest way to calm him down if he's upset. So he's spent quite a bit of time in our backyard over the last six months or so. Once my wife noticed that the smudge on the ground that he'd been playing with had just made its way to his mouth. She rushed over, and managed to pull half a slug out of his mouth. Not sure what happened to the other half. Not sure I want to know.
Okay, that is about the grossest thing I've ever heard!!! I'll remember to watch Caedmon a little closer from now on!!!
One of these days, if I can convince his mother to let me do it, I'll tell the story about Caedmon and the Grape. You'll change your mind about the grossest thing you've ever heard :-).
Boy, I don't know, as a mother now, if I like hearing all the gross stories! Yikes! I really don't want to have any to tell myself, but I'm sure that won't be possible!:/
